About

Raised on these roads.

We are a handful of islanders who arrange things. We have spent our lives on Páros, and we spend your days here making it run the way it would for a friend who happened to live here.

Tripwise began in 2009 with two cars, one driver, and a habit of saying yes. Seventeen summers later the habit has not changed, only what people ask of us: the Mercedes at the boat, the table, the house, the whole shape of the day. It is still a family concern, run from Áliki.

We have stayed small on purpose: big enough to be wherever you need us through the season, small enough that the person who answers the phone is the one who arranges it, and often the one at the wheel.

We keep the cars immaculate, the people discreet, and the day entirely yours.

The people

The voice on the line.

When you call or write, you reach a person on the island, and most often it is me. I answer myself, and I stay with your stay from the first message to the last evening.

Behind me is a small team: María, who keeps the houses; Níko, who is usually at the wheel; and the captains, cooks and friends we have known for years.

    Every one of us is from Páros. We know the roads in the dark and the island out of season, not from a map but from a life lived on it.

  2. A real voice on the line

    Call or write and a person answers, often the one who will arrange your stay. No queue, no script, no ticket number.

  3. One clear account

    What we arrange, in a single account agreed as we go. No platforms, no mark-up you cannot see, nothing waiting at the end of the day.

  4. The right thing, not the most

    We suggest what suits the day and the party, not the dearest line on a list. Sometimes that is the long way round and a picnic; sometimes it is doing very little at all.
